The Farragut Building

Property management tasked Mosaic with assessing the Farragut Building's façade in Washington, D.C., before scheduled repairs. The aim was to supplement the contractor's repair scope. Mosaic conducted a comprehensive evaluation, examining precast concrete, granite cladding, brick masonry, joints, and windows. A detailed condition assessment summary was presented, and a schematic plan was developed for immediate and long-term repairs, aiding budget utilization and future planning.

Mosaic's evaluation identified repairs that didn't need immediate attention, allowing a more appropriate timeframe, and uncovered deficiencies overlooked by the contractor. Mosaic's tailored repair plan met the building's current requirements. During construction, Mosaic monitored the repairs to ensure adherence to industry standards. This process ensured effective repairs and alignment with the building's needs, enhancing its overall condition.
