601 Travis Street
The facility located at 601 Travis was constructed in the late 1970’s and consists of approximately nine levels of enclosed parking topped by six levels of office space. The building’s frame is covered with granite panels and ribbon windows interrupted by the column covers provide vision glazing for each floor.
Significant repairs were completed to the facility in 2009 after Hurricane Ike impacted Houston, causing significant damage to the stone cladding and punched windows. Since that time, no significant maintenance or evaluations have been completed on the façade systems. Mosaic performed an evaluation of the façade systems to gain an understanding of the condition and to help establish a capital plan for future needs.
